We (myself and 4 of my friends) are going to Greytown to Shalom Ministries to attend the "Mighty Men Conference 2009". This miracle has grown from 240 in the 1st year to 66,000 men last year(2008). I really hope that they reach the 200,000 that they are getting ready for. God is good, all the time.
The theme of the men's conference is "Men of Promise" and the Bible verse is Galatians 4:28.
Some unbelievers are saying that Angus Buchan is just instilling old testament "outdated" doctrine. They also criticizes his schooling saying that he has never been to Bible School/College. I believe that he is taking men back to basics. He wants us (men) to provide for our families as the Bible commands. I say that his academic record does not make him less of a leader. God uses ordinary people, not academics. I cannot wait to get there.
